AFTER THE FLOOD

This work is part of the ongoing series “After the flood” which was begun a few years ago.

​

The series started in response to climate change and the growing crises of melting polar ice caps and rising water levels. However, I also wanted to incorporate symbolically, both overtly and subtly, other issues that were and are affecting the world around us today. In these paintings I bring together aspects of our everyday and environmental surroundings and the sometime turbulent changes they are undergoing.
