This project began with the observation over the past several years of mankinds apparent descent into a 21st century form of prehistoric tribalism. The manipulation of information by all forms of media, to twist and deform truth in order to separate one group from another, brought to mind the way in which in primitive times, the leaders of groups of people led them to think that the tribe or group from the next valley were different, therefore evil, and they needed to confront them, or kill in order to take their land, crops, hunting grounds etc.
Upon reflection I thought, that we needed a contemporary form of cave drawing , using simple spray and pigmented materials as they would have only had (in their case by mouth and with naturally occuring pigments), to depict elements of our modern era. As it seems we have not evolved emotionally or socially, then lets return to our artistic origin also.
